Well, today is Sunday and just sitting at home watching Without a Trace.  The awards are on so really nothing else is on today.

We are back in our old building and finally back up to were we were running.  I believe it was a good thing that we are not buying the Methodist Church.  The church was really too big for us to heat and keep up maintenance.  Now that we had moved a lot of things out and reorganized the basement and the house beside it, we are able to create more room than we did.  Yes it is not the ideal situation but it will do for what we need it to do.  As soon as I can I will take some photos and post them.  After some really good volunteer handy work, the building is starting to look really good.

Thats all for now...

Well, today is going well.  My wife and I are enjoying our day off.  Just cleaning and making sure everything is clean before we get in to the holiday rush.  The boys are fine.  Nathan is doing well in school and is full of energy.  Lance, well he is Lance.  He is growing to fast (maybe a good thing) for his own good.  He started Head Start and is enjoying it.  Angela and I are happy that we have moved most of the stuff we need to our new building so we can get this Christmas season under way.  We are also excited to say that we are doing our first Thanksgiving Dinner this year.  This is because we have the facility to do this now.  We have a HUGE kitchen with two of everything and four serving windows.  We have already done a soup kitchen once and we had about 70 people come.  It was awesome!  So you can see why we are excited to do this Thanksgiving Meal.

Tomorrow is going to be busy.  We have a big football game between Athens (around the corner) and Sayre which is called the Rusty Rail game.  This game was designed to help out The Salvation Army's food bank.  The cheerleaders from Athens and Sayre have a big hugh food drive with in the whole district and they complete for a trophy and bragging rights.  Last year they raised over 11,500 can goods for us.  We are so glad that this community is helpful.  Well, I will chat later.

Well, we had younger officer councils today and it was good.  I am glad that we are in the Empire State division.  Things are going well here in Sayre.  We have moved our building within the last few weeks.  It is so nice to have my own office and not have to listen to the Home League ladies... (lol).  The basement is so big that we can have a youth drop-in center which is badly needed in this area.  We also have a huge dining room with a kitchen that has two of everything.  We can't wait to start all the program that is so desperately needed in this area.  God is good..

Well, thats it for now.  You can always drop me a im on yahoo (cbig97).
